If these waterers aren't fairly level they leak -- that's pretty obvious. We don't have a lot of flat level spots in our chicken areas, so decided to hang our waterers and let gravity level them...
I bought and installed several of these at one time and they all leaked right away. I removed one and took it back to the feed store where I bought it to ask for advice, and was told I wasn't the...

Well, so far I have 2 lav splits that hatched sometime during the night, 1 lav that just hatched, and a poor little lav that hatched yesterday but the broody decided to kill it, and 1 that the broody squished. Needless to say, all the other eggs she was sitting on got put in the incu yesterday. I have 2 that are pipping this morning.

I still have one pip from the 5 silkies and 6 out of 9 from the quail. Actually these guys are early though because I usually set eggs right when I get home from school around 3:45pm MST so these guys arent due till later this evening. Sheesh the wait is still killing me. Aaaaahhhhhh!!!
I have 7 hatched so far and 4 more pips I have 4 giants, 1 leghorn,1cochin and 1 orp heres hoping the rest hatch. I had to take them out and put them in the brooder. This is the first time I put an egg flat in to hold the eggs. I like it but it doesnt leave much room when you have 7 babies popping around in there. They were starting to really move and stand up I was afraid they would touch the heater coil. I made sure the temps and humidity were high then quickly took them all out. The temp went down slightly , so did the humidity but it was back up within a minute or so.

I wish they would hurry up
the humidity is difficult to keep up it keeps falling below 60
I hate the wait
