seem like a good breed, if i had the room i would probably raise a batch of them they seem like they would be a good 4h starter show bird...considering i dont see many of this breed in my class...

He's no doubt crossed with A chocloate orpington / project bird... Chocolate orpingtons are the only know chocolate gene carrier in the USA right now. Several breeders are working on "project" chocolate Silkies in the USA right now.. Its a project that will take a few generations to get the Gene to take/ breed true along with the silkie characteristics.
