*Update on DH* Here we go again-more health issues

Many of you may recall that a month ago my DH spent a couple days in the hospital due to infections affecting his heart. Well he has had many tests since then and goes back to the doctor on Tuesday for the results. They did a CT scan on his abdomin Monday and an MRI on his shoulder they called and said they needed to make an appointment to discuss the results. At first she wouldn't say much but, he did get it out of her that it's the CT scan they have concerns with.

Then last night we got a call from a niece. His sister is in the hospital and will probably be getting a stint today. He husband has COPD and is not suppose to be outside in this cold weather. I guess a neighbor is going to help him with their chores. They have lambs, chickens, geese, steers.

Aww, try not to be too worried. I know, thats easier said than done. Maybe he just has ulcers? Not too big a deal. With meds and proper diet, he will be able to manage them.
As for his sisters family..I am so sorry. Is there no one that can help out?

I guess her daughter was heading down there. It is a six hour or so drive. We live four hours away but, have our own farm to worry about plus my DH's health. One of his brothers is having trouble with a kidney but, we haven't heard anything from them-just through the grapevine. Then he has a brother fighting kidney cancer and is on dialisis. There are eleven kids in the family and the youngest is 43 so I guess age is catching up with them all.

Good news for SIL. They went up her artery from the leg and found out she doesn't need a stint. Her heart is like a 26 year olds and she is about to turn the big 60!

They figure it was maybe stress that she was already under that made her fail the stress test.

Now on to DH's appointment Tuesday. I pray it is good news too!

I am praying for your H, you, and family. I go to doc tues also and its to find out my results from stress test. I just keep praying and talking to God.

DH went back in today to find out the test results. The MRI on his shoulder showed some tears and she referred him to orthopedics. The CT scan of his adomin showed a hienal hernia- to small to operated on- a mass of blood vessels on his liver-also to small to worry about-a growth or something in his lower adomin that is not cancerous. They are going to do another CT scan in 6-9 months to check and see if anything is growing or if it stays the same. He is in again this afternoon to have his lungs checked. He breaths hard and runs out of air and wheezes. They had done a CT scan when he was in the hospital and it showed nothing wrong. So now they are going to do the check where you blow tubes to check for things like asthma, farmers lung, emphasema, COPD. The doctor did give him an emergency inhaler for when he has attacks.
