Is it soo bad to eat fertile eggs? I mean, I really dont care. It doesnt taste any different and its not a chick inside yet. Its a potential chick so no harm done, right?? Do you eat fertile eggs?

If you have a rooster, you have fertile eggs. There's nothing wrong with them or with eating them and they only have the genetic material necessary to produce a chick, they're not a chick yet, not until they're kept at the proper temperature & humidity for a number of days.

Enjoy your breakfast, no worries!

I dont care at all. Some people on here and at home think Im crazy because I am eating baby chicks. Most people on here dont like that fact that they are eating a baby chicken even though therre not.

Joe, people are freaky.  It is not a baby chick until it forms, and when you crack an egg that has been in your coop or the fridge it is not forming.  Some people are so strange!

lol I hate when everyone thinks that eggs have chicks in them. Even if it was, most people still eat chicken!

Exactly!!!  If people would just give 10 seconds thought to where their food came from, they would either become vegan, or get over it!

Yeah some people are really really strange!! My Captain told me a couple weeks ago that he won't eat yard eggs cause he's found some with feathers in them!! I probably looked like a fish trying to say something and figured it wouldn't be worth it and just shook my head and walked out!! To each his own I guess!! idunno

You know this is something that bothers me quite a bit.somad  Many people would rather eat nasty old chlorine eggs from the grocery store. sickbyc Some people  just get grossed out about eating something from your backyard.  Does that make any sense?  I can't even eat something with grocery store eggs anymore.   It goes along with all the people who would never eat their own chickens, but have no problem eating chicken that comes from a terrible environment.  I just do not understand this thinking.
