Orange County California - Page 3

I grew up in FV and w live in neighboring Long Beach. We can keep 20 hens but not everyone can in LB and the city is trying to make it easier. We are trying to get people in los angeles together to work on legalization efforts. My mom still has a house there so i can probably help. Let me know if you want to strategize. There are things to do to help with neighbors. They are much quieter than you would expect. The neighbors called once and thr animal control person said we couldn't have them and we said we could based on the code and that ended that. The animal control and code enforcement don't really know. You need the codes to support you and if the codes don't it's time for a change.

sure, I'd like to strategize. I left another message for animal control in response to their notice of violation. I asked them for specifics on what it is that I'm in violation of.  The only thing that they can get me on is that the coop is too close to one of my three neighbors (ordinance states that I have to be 25 feet away from property lines).
