Laryngitis Remedies Anyone?

I lost my voice I guess from coughing too much. I almost never get sick, but now I have bronchitis and I can not talk. My throat doesn't hurt although it is red and irritated. Anyone have any suggestions?
 
If you are not allergic to it... I make a weak tea made with powdered clove. It will numb the throat a bit. Add honey, or whatever sweetener you can use. And try not to talk to much. It takes time for the voice to come back and you don't want to strain it anymore than you have. I am also going through that cough attack thing!!! I hate it
 
Oh thanks, I'm going to try the clove thing. We live in the same area, must be the same cough

Ok, the clove tea is pretty tasty! I'm out of honey right now so no sweetener added right now. My DH has been telling me to quit talking, so guess I will.
