That was my thought, time will tell as the chick picks up weight and body shape if it is game, but it sure looks that way.

The color is either wheaten of buff. It looks mixed, but it could be a game...

Ok, first of all, most red sexlinks have yellow legs (this one has white) And this chick is way to light in color to be one anyway...

I am in agreement with Mahonri it looks to be a Wheaten game pullet to me too. My first thought when I saw it... Just has that game stance.

Have a great hubby, mother to two great kids... We have a Barred Rock, Buff Std Cochin, EE, Buff Columbian Cochin bantam, Blue Andalusian, Brown Leghorn, FBCM, Game hen, frizzle, a splash Polish pair, one handsome Black Ameraucana roo and a handful of play pretty Silkies.

I'm a great believer in omens.  If none occur I make some up.  But, all that aside,  it was meant for your daughter to have this chick - I love her name for it too. Hope it stays a pullet.

The more I think about this,  maybe your daughter planted the chick there, had you drive by and then  "OH look a chicken!"   I'm just teasing you.   Sounds like something I would have thought up as a child.
