How come, when I google, "chicken bumper sticker," backyardchickens.com does not show up? That surprised me.

Oh, one thing peeps can do is to link to our bumper stickers using "anchor text" from their blogs / websites and even their BYC pages like this:

I concur wih the message. If more people knew how easy hens are to raise, then I'm sure we would see more in peoples back yards.

I have been looking for this for years.. I saw it on tv and several shows explained ration and lack of meet had more people even in cities raising chickens...

I think i read most of the posts couldn't agree more that this was and IS a good idea!!! Maybe the ad could be sent to city commisioners in towns and cities trying to pass ordinances against keeping chickens

Love the old Unce Sam graphic you posted.

 

We found this poster online at the Victory Garden of Tomorrow website and now have it hanging in the pantry. 

 

Kind of a modern vision of what it would be like if the old WW2 campaigns were being brought back to life today.

Well agree but disagree somewhat too. If every home raised chickens....to whom would I sell my eggs?

 

I keep chickens to be able to have my own fresh eggs, and always have just enough extra to sell, and the sales of the extra ones provide me with just enough money to keep the girls in feed.
