Mine got 3 scrambled eggs.  I found 3 eggs behind the hay bales we had stored in the coop.  When we moved the bale, 3 eggs were back there and I didn't know how long they'd been there, so I scrambled them for the hens.

This morning's demand for goodies was met with some leftover Spanish rice.  Earlier this week they conned me out of a corn muffin with blueberries, handfuls of BOSS here and there, cracked corn, and some cheddar cheese.

Well right now all my fuzzy butts are getting fresh picked black berries from the back part of our property. The bigger birds aren't to in to them but eat them however the bannies love em!! Also grapes and left over corn on the cob. Can someone tell me what BOSS is? I might know what it is and just never heard it that way. Sounds like everyone is getting really YUMMY treats this summer. jumpy

found a nice big wild dock, which is Rumex hymenosepalus and a close relative of sorrel. basically it's a lemony tasting lettuce or spinach. so i tore off some leaves for them - at first they weren't sure about it but later it was gone so i guess someone liked it!
