What Special Treat or Yummy Did Your Flock Get Today? - Page 5

Yesterday my girls got raisins, BOSS, and baby spinach leaves.
Today, scrambled eggs with nonfat yogurt, BOSS and leftover chicken.  Think I'll put out the leftover carcass from a Costco chicken.  We love those, but somehow they never end up getting finished off.

Married to DH for 21 years, DS 18,  mom of golden retrievers--Harley and Mia, and my 17 girls--Barred Rocks, a Buff Orpington, Rhode Island Reds, Easter Eggers, a Gold Laced Wyandotte, a Silver Laced Wyandotte, Delawares, Cuckoo Marans, a Black Australorp, and Twiggy---our Welsummer, who laid the prettiest eggs ever, but left for chickie heaven today, where they never, ever run out of raisins.

The end of our tub of mixed green salad, a cup of applesauce and a bowl of cherry fruit at the bottom yogurt.

Cabbage (I made coleslaw) and grapes.  It was pretty much a salad fest here.

1 Fantastic Wife, 6 Terrific kids, 40 +/- Chickens, 3 dogs, 1 Live in Dad, and 1 Live in Mother in Law.  The chickens are so I stay SANE, and it is questionable if it is working!

Dandelions, some lettuce from the garden, a few pieces of kale and some bok choy that had bolted. Oh, and some peas. Those are their favorite.

7 quacking ducks, 5 spazzy quail, 3 lazy cats, 2 grown sons, 1 goofy husband... and no partridge, but I have a pear tree!

Yogurt in the a.m. and grapes in the p.m. :)

Oh, and don't forget the warm bath for Large Marge, she had an exceptionally dirty bottom today.

Well mine are spoiled...
I give them treats each day.
Mostly veggies like lettuce, cucumber insides, tomatoes or bread.
Found out they really like the watermelon leftovers smile
Also like giving them bugs that we find...hornworms, grubs, and slugs
