I was curious while looking throught this site:

The golden phoenix looks really nice...and they are sold out until late March. At first, im thinking...their birds can't look like the picture shown but if their birds aren't that great...why are they sold out until late March???

To back up my assumption that their Phoenix does NOT look like that...does anyone have pictures so I can see if im right or im wrong?

Regardless, I still think they have big variety as far as longtails and bantams go over McMurray.

They have like 20 colors in Old English Bantams!!! Wow

They're Cubalaya (esp. the bbr) are nearly always sold out too. *pout* I've seen a picture of a Black Breasted Red (Wheaten) male from Ideal poultry, very nice looking bird. Long tail, downward sweep... Made me re-think wanting to get some from them.

The bird wasn't mine, it was posted on the Cubalaya breeder's club group. The pullets from Ideal, that I've seen (I have two of my own) are lighter (not so cinnamon) and have white in their feathers where it shouldn't be. But their males have looked great from what I've seen. I had two blue reds, one developed white in is feathers (major fault) the other was looking good until my RIR cockerel deprived me of him. :mad:

If you look at my personal page, click the cubalaya link at the top. There are a few pictures of my Cubalaya on there. They are still young, so maybe as the pullets age they'll feather out better. Right now they are about 10 months old. The pictures were taken a couple of months ago.
 
Ahh, you like the single combs? I'm more of a pea or cushion comb person with little or no wattles. I'm influenced by the "dubbed" look. My dad raised American Gamefowl years ago, so I'm biased.

I see. Well for me. Dubbed looks better than if they are born with it...because it looks cleaner in a way and smoother...like the dubbed Old English Games
