What are your rooster's names? - Page 20

Currently; Kirby, Paris, Apollo (Paulo), Leif, Monterey Jack (Monty), Shawn Spenser, Chocobo (Chuck), and Pumpkin.

Past gentlemen have been; Jack, Val, Oscar, Oliver, Stan (my fav. rooster name), Harry, and Zeus.

I have such a soft spot for roosters.

Most of my birds are not named, though there are a few that have them.

This is Franny, my mottled bantam cochin cockerel. He got his name because he is always "The Nanny" to chicks once their mamas abandon them (hence the little girl sitting on his back and the one under his wing--you can just barely see her brown tail)


This is Froggy, my blue bantam cochin cockerel. He got his name because of his 'attitude' when he first learned he was a boy (feeling 'froggy' lol)


This was Hollywood, Franny's dad. He came to me with this name, probably because he was always 'in a show'


This was Tough Guy, because, well, he was a tough guy! Always chasing my son and trying to pick fights


No reason for this one's name, but this was Charlie


And this is Rocky, for lack of a better name


I think that's it, there's a few more that have 'names' but I don't have pictures of those.

big rock and little rock! big rock went to a new home to have his own girls last week i miss him! but we have little rock still... and maybe a few more?

My roos name is Bok bok , he's a Light brown leghorn

We have two roos and their names are Roy and IDK

my dorking roo is named boobs coz when he was growing up he always looked like he had boobs

he is still young, hasnt even crowed yet.
