Just so you know there are actually quite a few of us on the Washingtonians from the Eastern WA...ME, there is also another lady from Okanogan, and there is one from Wenatchee...so there are a few.  We are practically neighbors.

Worn:  I think this year we consider this the "wet side" also....lol

I lived in the true wet side my entire life until two years ago. It might be a wet spring for here, but nothing like the rain over there!

Omak is very close. It's a nice area. We looked at that area as well. A little closer to Tonasket, but the job worked out here.  I can't complain there is a reason people vacation here. I love it!

Chickielady,

I just met a lady from your area here in Chelan yesterday. She said she's from Longbranch or Longbeach? Anyway, she said it was near Raymond. She was at my friends store yesterday in Chelan.

Thank you! Yeah, I know where Chelan is! I have a good friend who lives in Carlton and I used to work in Winthrop. I do go over to the Methow about once a month either for the vet, Hank's or the Twisp Pub! tongue
