I love how they look but I wish I could calm mine down. Chicken sedatives anyone? They are sweet once I have them in hand and have calmed them down but they try to break their necks when I need to be in the coop cleaning bedding and feeding. Poor frazzled nerve babies.

Aww, I cant wait to see more pictures! I love polish!

Chickens are like potato chips, you can't have just one!

 

Hens: 1 Buff Orpington & 1 Leghorn.         Pullets: 1 New Hampshire Red, 1 Light Brahma, 1 Speckled Sussex, & 1 Partridge Rock.

Ive got a silver laced polish chick (seems to be a pullet). Going to pick up 2 more pullets tomorrrow (golden laced). Ive got a male in mind for them when theyre a bit older if he's still for sale...

It's dark out now, but I'll get some in the morning. I put her in with 2 other small young OE pullets (even though shes a bit big) because the bigger hens were picking on her so shes a bit plucked. She gets along great with the other 2 though and I dubbed her the new Zapdos (since the third OE pullet mysteriously died). Pokemon fans should get it, LOL.

Ralph was picked on at first when she was smaller, then we got 2 buff orpingtons. They took up for her, every time she was picked on the 2 buffs went after the ones that were bullying. Now she handles her own!

My two girls are about 10 weeks old now (hatched March 24th), mom was a white polish/white leghorn mix and dads are some kind of polish, I assume? - no idea!

Funny what genetics can be like lol
