You would be surprised how many of us there are in town.  We picked up our first girls last fall and the babies came in February.  We have cochins, a brahma and a bantam Sussex.

I drive through Bedford every time I fly out of Manchester.  Now I know why they have those "slow chicken crossing" signs up smile  At least the snow is gone and I can get back to digging post holes.  I think I got a bit carried away by the size of the run.

We used to live in Merrimack, and I still work there.  There are lots of backyard flocks around if you look for them, but many are hidden to avoid unwanted attention.

We didn't get our chickens until we moved to Candia because the neighbors we had in Merrimack would've been a problem.

Are there any 'Coop Tours' in Southern NH? I know a lot of cities do them, I think it would be great to have something like that around here jumpy
