(but then i wouldn't have a project......)

Agreed and to be honest I have heard many conflicting reports in general about rose combs. At the time it was what I was hearing and I did not look into it.

I have seen reports that people post about rose combs and they seem to only use SLW..... I agree they have fertility issues. My BLRW don't and I have not heard that in other RC breed either. I don't think it is really linked to the rose comb.... but the breed. RC Leghorns, RC RIR..... never heard a complaint about fertility in those......

Here are a couple of pics from about a month ago of a silver pullet. I need to get some more pictures but it has just been so cold and snowy lately. Will get some more pics of the gold and rooster with in the next couple weeks when we NPIP test them for the year. There are a few more on our facebook page in our link. Also you can click on my name I think and see all my pictures. There are some of the cockerels and gold hen and one hen that has very strange coloring.

I wish we were getting eggs, lol with this past month and a half of below normal temps and everlasting snow everyone (Rhodebars and BLRW) who was laying quit.

I know this is an old thread but i am thinking about producing wybars in the next couple years. I am thinking about using a gold laced wyandotte. I have seen pictures and they are stunning.
