I know it can cause stomach issues for me, but I have problems with my stomach anyway, tho the problems have gotten out of hand since I've been here.
I get so upset---seeing people telling others how to hatch and what to do---then find out a lot of times the one telling this is on their first hatch---they are telling something they read or the teller has really bad hatched etc----really bothers me. The new hatcher follows this info and spends 3 weeks taking care of the eggs for Nothing---were informed wrong.
I feel No Experienced Good Hatcher will tell a newbie its ok to do a staggered hatch in one small incubator. Sure we that hatch a lot do a lot of staggered hatches, but like me----when the eggs get to day 18 they are moved to another incubator to hatch, then in a few days the next 18 day old batch of eggs are moved to the "hatcher" etc, etc. None hatching in the original incubator.
Your water----I do not know----it does not cost a lot to have it tested at the health dept----you feel its Bad???You can buy distilled or water at the grocery store cheap or get some from a family member with good water in gallon jugs to use.
