Can light brahmas go broody?

I have two light brahma hens and I was wondering if they are a breed that goes broody easily. Is there anything I can do to encourage them to go broody? They are a year old now. Also I have two roosters, one grew up with these two girls but neither rooster will mate with them but is not related. It looks like only the one who grew up with them goes for the old hens (12+ yrs) and the other is a bantam and can't seem to tackle the bigger girls. Are my two little ladies just unattractive to these roos?
 
Brahmas regularly go broody and tend to be excellent mums.
Your rooster is unusual, my Brahma boys will mate with anything! I am sure that you will find someone who has a rooster nearby who will probably either give one or loan one to you. You may find your own rooster sharpens his act up with the competition!

My Light Brahmas won't go broody either. Don't know what it is. One always seems as if she wants too but doesn't. She will hang out a while with hens that are laying or sit with a broody hen just to keep her company. That's about it though. One hen spends a lot of time by herself. Don't know why that is either. They are really nice birds too.
 
My light brahma went broody EXTREMELY easy. She's been broody for about a year or to, but we just broke her of it because she thinks that our Silkie chicken is her baby. I don't think you'd want them to go broody because it could mean poor egg production since they just wanna hatch them. Also, a broody chicken could be dangerous to other chickens. Broody chickens are usually grumpy. Our broody chicken killed 2 chickens and was beating up all of the other ones badly.
