Is that the 2012 Chicken Swap listing on page one of this thread?
It doesn't have the year listed there! The first swap of 2012 is March 10th...is that right?

he.gif  the girls have been broody for at least 3 weeks.  they are so ticked somad.gif when I take the eggs every day. one little banty cochin actually screamed for joy when she saw the pile of eggs.  her nest box is a covered cat litter box.  I set up a pen for her while she was doing the I have exactly 5 minutes to eat thing.  I put 9 eggs in the box, picked her up and put her in her box.  she looked at me wide eyed, gave a scream of joy,out came the wings, and down she when settling on the eggs. cute as can be,  this is the most broody hen I own.  last summer she climbed in the nest box with a runner duck. they sat together till I took the chicken out of the pen because she was starting to bully the duck who is double her size.   I have 1 more broody and this one is large.  she is one of bubba's daughters.  scares me to death to think of how many eggs she could handle.  ep.gif
