CHICKEN SWAPS OF NH SWAP LISTINGS - Page 335

we stopped at the derry tsc and they are putting alot of effort into promoting the swap next weekend.  they put up a big sign in the enterance. they are also stuffing bags with flyers.  there are pamphlets with promos for swap day only.  shavings will be one dollar off, metal waterers are on sale, 1 type of rabbit cage will be discounted, and 1 type of dog food will be on sale if I remember correctly.

has anyone seen the article in the hippo newspaper?  if not go pick up a copy.  there is a chicken on the cover.  the article includes chicken swaps.  they put up part of our schedule.  this paper is available all over the place.

i did buy straight run, the guy said he could sex them for me but he said he was like 80% sure they were all females well out of the 6 he didnt do so well. i was looking for about 18 weeks, i was looking forward to getting eggs since i put so much time and money into them. i have 6 chicks in the basement that are factory sexed females so im torn between just starting all over with just the chicks in the basement or replacing the 2 outside and getting some younger hens or older pullets then just interducing like i had planned. so many choices. i wouldnt even mind any age hen right now as long as she is laying.
