for my EEs the tell tale was behavior not so much looks by ten weeks, one spent much more time looking at sky, while the girls ate, he was leading or coraling the others to bed at nite, he was mounting (or least trying to) the other birds and grabbing them by the back of the head/neck, standing tall and very upright even when walking, rather than the bent over look of the girls.
