Are these flowers safe for my chickens????

I couldn't begin to count the different varieties of plants/flowers/vines growing on this farm, wild and intentional; toxic and non-toxic. In two years of free ranging I've yet to have a poisoned chicken. They must have a sense of what's okay to eat and what's not; otherwise there would be no such thing as feral chickens.

In over a half century of keeping chickens I've never known of one eating anything that was harmful. Many animal species have instinctive knowledge that protect them. Where my birds range there's Night Shade. Morning Glory, Rhubard & sometimes Jimson Weed among other potentially toxic plants. Never had a bird bother with any of them.
