I doubt I'll ever personally keep a flock of bantams, but they're just fun. (And in both cases, the bantams were hatched for fun. Never planned on keeping either, but now can't imagine our flock without them.)
we're ahead of you on bantams. We have our golden laced sebright, Lacey, our little oegb rooster, Nugget, 6 Silkies(Cotton, Kramer, Ginger, Lovey, Mary Anne, and one more that we aren't sure on gender yet), a bantam barred cochin, Beatrice, and a self blue oegb pullet, Crocket. We also have a pair of black oegb, Minnie and Mickey.
So you can see we have quite a few and I still want more. All of our chickens have a ton of personality except maybe a few of the large fowl ones and almost all adore people so we've been very blessed. I do think you guys need a silkie or two
of all of our birds some of my favorites are our silkies also our oegb are wonderful birds with lots of personality and they love to talk to us. Crocket thinks she's a parrot always wants on us much like your Trouble sounds. Also amazingly our bantams lay incredibly well. Beatrice gives us an egg almost every single day and so does Ginger. Crocket has only been laying a couple weeks but rarely takes a day off.
