What do I have here.. she sounds a little squirty... sorry for the details but the pic is the backside...
I read oatmeal if it is diahrrea.. the skin around the area is a little red. I just got her yesterday and she was rather dirty.
I cleaned her up and thought it was just travel and stress.

I have sex linked hens who are 2 and 3 years old. Free range in fenced back yard. They are only in coop to lay and sleep. Went out this am and had one dead chicken. The only clue was messy butt. I have one other hen with messy butt. No signs of illness or distress. Eating fine, they get yogurt with ground flax twice a week and I use food grade DE for dusting and mixed with feed. Stools on ground appear normal. I feel Layena. I put cider vinegar in water. Free availablity of oyster shell. No peculiar behavior.  Her butt looked like picture from previous post. HELP!!!
