Here is my only black Rock, Emily, from last year's hatch, sister to my two blue girls, Alice and Neela. She is the broody type.

This hen (front/right side)was a light/greyish Blue color. Cool color, the first and only one I ever hatched out like that.

I bet he won a few ribbons. Great coloring. How did you save the color from "brassing" in the sun? My Cordon and so many others here with pictures of blue roo's get a brown/red leaking.

There's so little to fear from hatching even chickens dare. In fact, it's so easy a turkey can do it.
