That is wonderful to know. I am up that way quite a bit. Or at least Townsend. I spend a lot of time in the Cove and just above every little trout stream in between there and the Powerhouse at the NC line.

 

I would love to pick up some chicks when you have some available. I have 2 Eco-20 turner incubators but really like hatching in under hens.....

Yes lots of good trout fishing in this area... to bad I don't have more patience for fishing and not sure what I would do if I caught one...

 

Good luck with your hatching eggs!  I will PM you when the gals start laying eggs.

Spring is coming. celebrate.gif

I've got two batches of SFH eggs in the incubator. They are due to hatch the 16th and the 27th.

There are SFH x Ameraucana eggs in there, too.

Living well with chickens.

Swedish Flower Hens, Cream Legbars, Isbars, Lemon Cuckoo Orps and ee's with beards, muffs, crests AND blue eggs!

I candled the first batch at 10 days and saw little guys wiggling around in all of them!

The blue eggs were a lot harder to see through so I'm not sure about those. I plan to candle them again tomorrow on day 14. Too eager? smile.png

Here are my new babies. There is another still in the incubator that looks a lot like the middle one
