Parson's Wife - The tornado hit in Benton, Bryant, Little Rock and North Little Rock then moved on toward Cabot.  There are a lot of people around here lost their homes luckily no lost lives.  Thank God it missed Bauxite-Sardis area normally it hits within a mile of my house.

Dustin Biery - My husband was born in Mulberry and then lived in Rudy until he was about 8 or 9 but still has family in Rudy and Van Buren FYI my husband is 53.

It's good to see all these Arkansas people.

North Central Arkansas here...near Mtn Home just "a spit" away from the Missouri Line.  I have 14 new girls (though I'm suspecting one boy), and am eagerly looking forward to eggs...in several months...

Is there some kind of egg dance I can do to hurry em up?  I was visualizing some kind of jig while holding an egg basket in each hand, with one on my head, around the coop...big_smile

It could work...

Welcome Plucky,

It's great to see you here.  How's the White River doing?  I bet it's rolling fast with all this rain.

Hello luvmychicknkids and jackiedon!  Thanks for the warm welcome.  How many chickens you all have?  My hubby and I just moved from the Jonesboro area...I worked for the state and in state-provided housing, but now we finally have our own place and some acres to play with and get back to our farm roots.  We were also glad to get out of the delta.  We're both native Ozarkers, and it's good to be in the hills again!  I'm having a blast with my chickens, and I've also got my folks wanting their own flock, too.
wee
jackiedon, the White has been ROLLING, but I hear it's getting better.  Lake Norfork, which we pass daily on the way to town, has been really high and the color of chocolate milk.  I hear Bull Shoals lake is the same. (We've given up on trout fishing for who knows how long)
More rain is the last we need, but seems we're getting it again this week...
