They all have their own personality! The Houdan's are crazy but I love them. Watch any of the Houdan roos as they become mature because they do have aggressive tendencies.
The Favorelle's are very docile and tend to get pushed around by more assertive birds so be aware of that.
I have no experience with the lakenvleders and hamburgs.
Silkies are sweet but stupid.
We had a difficult time with the hatches we did with the silkies for some reason.
We have shown all of them at county fair and with different ones and different breeds have brought home Grand and Reserve more than once. You are getting a great blood line, just do your research on what the Standard of Perfection (SOP) for each breed is and try to pick the birds that most closely match. Even with great blood lines you sometimes get mediocre birds but with big enough numbers, you are bound to get some winners. You are in a great place to ask questions.
