Eating dove eggs?

All birds eggs are edible. I couldn't imagine bothering with one as small as a dove's egg, but you certainly can if you want to.

Yes, you can eat them. it takes 247 for a breakfast!

There's nothing wrong with that, just make sure you gather them before they start incubating them! Dove and quail eggs would probably make great bite-sized hardboiled eggs. I don't like hardboiled eggs but it sounds convenient

I have 4 doves in a large pen with some quail. The quail lay all the time but I only get one or two dove eggs a month. I thought about boiling the dove eggs along with the quail eggs just to see if they were any good. After reading this, I am going to give it a shot and see what's what.

i eat them, my dog eats them, the cat eats them. theyre great, just takes two to four days to get a meal.. if someone made a pigeon breed that would produce every day, like some chickens, quail, and ducks do, then id get to have downtown city pets that I could keep quietly and free fly from my porch, as i enjoy the breakfast they made me warm and fresh, more often.
