Hi Cathie,

You might want to contact Randy, aka Berkeleysprings, here on BYC. He has some lovely birds!! I've got some cooking in the bator right now...wee.gif

Can't wait for the Wheatens to hatch!!

Mine get locked down tonight. I candled again last night and am down to 16. (Black quitter so I'm down to just 1 black sad.png ).

I hear ya Barb. I am hoping for more Whites and Blacks. I was going to sell out of the Whites, but they have really grown on me, and there is also a lot of folks around here looking for Whites, soooo... The one that was rocking was a White! I waited for her to lay that egg for about an hour! Now, I just hope it is white, and not another Partridge! gig.gif Now that I have the other little coop up, I can seperate my colors.

I may be ordering whites from you down the road!!!! I only have 2 that developed out of the 7 sent to me. I REALLY would like a nice white pullet to pair with Elliot. Hopefully, the 2 that have developed will hatch - AND at least 1 is a pullet. Even better, BOTH hatch and BOTH are pullets!!! fl.gif

I got one white silkie in my last hatch and 2 partridge (although one looks almost buffish colored grrr), one is a nice dark blue. They are so cute. I love when they are getting all their silkied feathers in and it almost looks like they are running around in the footed fuzzy pajamas lol. I would like to hatch some black ones.

Ohhh my Black Copper Marans came today all safe and sound much better than trying to hatch them. Sue did a wonderful job they had a heat pack and she tied 2 cut oranges to the side of the box and they didn't even take a day to arrive from New York. I'm in chick heaven right now they are sooo cute

It costs less to have the very best. Trying to raise Delawares and Marans I also have Silver Penciled Rocks New Hampshires Midget Whites Bourbons and Royal Palms......home of many APHA horses. Breeder of World Champions and Honor Roll Champions and High Point winners. I love to trail ride and camp with my friends.

My blue copper boy is sick. He was fine this afternoon and when I went out to gather eggs a few minutes ago he was all droopy. Tail feathers on the ground and his comb was dark and cold. The only antibiotic I have is Nuflor, which I use for cattle and is very strong. Gave him maybe 1/2 cc by mouth. Sure hoping he makes it with that.
