Handsome boy! The only thing I don't like is his tail is a little high. Other than that, he's a keeper!

Nice roo, do you mind when you get a chance of getting a closer pic of his head?

Maranman~ Welcome!

Do you happen to have a full view side shot of this boy? I really like his hackle color and saddle color but would love to see more of him.

Took a drive yesterday and came home with our new additions to the family. We now have 4 Blue Copper Maran chicks. They are a couple of days old and full of blue fluff.

I can never have too many chickens. The large breeds are my favorite and I have a weakness for Brahmas.

Bad Betty laid her first egg. I LOVE the shape, it's a nice little roundy. Bad Betty is Lil' Bill's first kiddo from my first test hatch with LB...I'm pretty satisfied with the egg color as well.

Here it is with some Blue Laced Red Wyandotte eggs.

LOL  **looks around for Debbie** haha

Pink: Love bad Betty's egg.  I just love the Bad Girls in my flocks. They keep life interesting.  The round eggs are cool. One of the Silver Marans eggs I got in the mail the other day is a perfect round ball. I wonder if it will hatch? Have you set any of the round eggs before?

MaranMan: Yes please post pics from the side closer up. It will be easier to give you a better evaluation. I agree I like his hackles and saddle color. He looks like he might end up being a big boy. His tail is a little high so I would breed him to a hen with a more horizontal tail. I can't see his feet or legs well enough to see his feathering....etc
