Wish me luck. (I was ever so careful with them. But they did alot of extra traveling on the way home.... restaurants, rest stations...We were driving so they came with me everywhere on the way home. I couldn`t leave them in the car... they would have been cooked!).

P1020130.JPGHummitiy is at 54% and the temp is 100 - 99.7...

Sounds like we will be hatch buddies, I was suppose to put some eggs in lockdown last night but did not get around to it so they went down this morning. Good luck with your hatch!

Looks like most of them made it to lockdown  fl.gif go babies go......... I mean groceries lau.gif

Tin~ That young Blue Copper cockerel is a fine looker. If I could send out a whistle over the internet I would. I agree with Gilavina and believe that he will still color up for you.

The pullet is a looker too, hope she gives you lovely eggs.

Don't ya just love how genetics will throw you a real curve ball out of the blue. I am diying to see this one grow out, you know my vote is for a sport white but who knows!

IF it is you want it back?   pop.gif

Vicki~ Those boys are looking good. Love the lacing on the blue boy. I was checking out that Black Copper cockerel of mine that I am growing out and he is not showing 1 stitch of copper.....he is black as black can be. Me wonders if he will even get any copper at all. Even if he doesn't...... he is going to be a nice big chunker.

Keara~ I like that cockerel that you are growing out with the shorter back. He has great copper color and nice size. Love the broadness of him. He should make some nice babies.

Question? Does he always carry his wings this low or is he just flustered from the photo shoot? I know my guy Lil' Bill gets anxious when I come around with the camera and give him chase to get photos of him and sometimes he doesn't tuck his wings back up where they belong after a little chase and they can look funny or low in some of my photos. Just wondering if you have noticed this as well.

A bit lighter in direct light, but still not gonna complain! haha

I just wanted to introduce myself! I just got 5 Cuckoo Marans a little over a week ago, along with SS, EE's and SSH  :) but the marans took the cake for being hardy little birds... I got 23 chicks and all of the marans were wide eyed and bushy tailed! so to speak....they were the only ones I let my son handle the 1st few days because the SSh were small and I had a few weak ones...better now, and some of the EE's had pasty butt...better now...The SS were also quite perky but I still had a few that were tired...not the marans haha they are also super sweet...but then all chicks that I have bought form purely poultry are exceptionally tame :)

here are a few picts I took last week big_smile.png

awwwww! What a LOOK!
