The look is not right to me either. Game was something I didn't think of. I do think it is a roo... he has some gold in his wings. Not a golden cuckoo really... looks like a cuckoo with gold leakage.
My heritage BR is leggy like that but he is growing into his legs and is getting a nice wide body to go with the legs.
I only have pics of my Splash Cuckoo and he looks nothing like that. But he was mature when I got him and I have not grown up a cuckoo roo yet. But I don't see any difference in them as chicks.
I can't see his comb well, but it looks like more of a Pea shape to me? I don't have any of those around here, Donna, what can you see there?

He does have a smaller comb than I am used to seeing at that age, but some lines do mature at a slower rate than others, and even within the varieities they can differ. He is still very young, and has a lot more growing to do yet. In another month or so, when the hormones start to kick in, he should go into a growth spurt. My BCM males (Black Copper Marans), tend to get large quickly, but aren't completely at a mature weight and fullness until around 18 months. I'd almost bet in another month, you will look back at this pic and not recognize him as the same bird! Love the Parti SG, by the way!
