Good for you! We need a couple of them.... well ten would be good too. LOL 65 acres of fallen trees and 6ft tall grass (not now hubby got it all cut today) I might could get the garden spot cleared from 2 years ago
and maybe ready for another planting next year.... well as much as you can do anyway.... like add PILES of chicken manure to the garden.
I hear ya....it adds up so fast and before long is way more than you know what to do with. This kid expressed interest in helping to till the garden up for me since I didn't use most of it this year because I just couldn't find time. I will be doing a fall garden tho, I need to stress reliever with everything I've got on my plate and am determined to cut some of my costs for winter. Only catch is that I'll probably have to water the garden overnight so the ground will be soft enough to even think about tilling.
Get all the good use you can while you can! Fall garden....hum....
I resorted to cutting the grass behind the bushhog and feeding that to the chickens.
I don't know how much I am going to do that..... but they loved it! (lots of grit too)
