I'm no expert and comparing them to the pic I have hanging on my wall.  Number two is nice too.

They are the same age.  I think he is a bit bigger, but if it is the one I think it is...he has a high tail angle and possibly a bit of a pinched tail.  Almost all my hens have pinched tails, so I definitely want a wide tail in my rooster.  I'll look at him a bit more though.

Thanks for the comments

Awww, thank gawd it wasn't summer.  Special treat for her?

Well I did go to the barn and played with my horse for a while, then hung out for a while-I like asking the young teens how their life and school are going-they love interest being shown in them.

I was gone 2 hours.  The BF and wife stopped by, and left.  Only here an hour!  Glad I didn't wait around.  They came back from a city up north and stopped on the way home, which is a city south of us.  It might have even been better if they would have said "hey, we're 3 hours away, got time for company?".  Thanks for listening to my vent!

Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well-preserved body. but rather, to skid in sideways, totally worn out and exhausted while shouting loudly "WOW! What a ride!"
