Actually she sent her three eggs not sure what happened to the third...I am old and cannot remember.  But Kathy is trying to figure out how to repay the kindness...I was thinking she could send Mary aligator eggs the only problem is acquiring them from the nest.  gig.gif  I am NOT volunteering for the task but being a friend I shall volunteer to snatch the eggs and run if some other willing friend will lure the mother away from the nest.  lol.png

They are adorable Kathy....real cuties and I love the markings.

Life shouldn't be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty, well-preserved body. but rather, to skid in sideways, totally worn out and exhausted while shouting loudly "WOW! What a ride!"

Mary sent me 3 eggs....... believe me..... it was a TOTAL shock !  Well, I couldn't just let them go to waste. I had to at least try to hatch them, ya know. One was a stinker, and I tossed it a couple weeks ago. The last two, well..... I never was totally convinced they were developing, really. Then, about a week ago or so, I saw one move! Never was sure the other one moved though. Surprise! Surprise ! !

The cuddle-snuggle factor, just for you, LadyHawk.....

cuz you know me..... I don't do cuddles and snuggling.   gig.gif

I love that last pic!!!  How cute!  I guess they're going to have personalities all their own, too.

That is what I am using right now. I ordered some emu feed.

Honestly, I was not prepared for this at all.

I wasn't aware there was such a thing as emu feed. I just sort of thought they'd fall under game birds, but of course, I never really thought much about it at all. Good to know!

Are you thinking of getting one Cyn?  Just something in the way you typed the "Good to know!" part.   gig.gif
