Oh LH I can so relate to the big dog thing. My BJ dog even though he's not as big as your big boy there, he weighs in at around 50#s I'd reckon not that's such a big deal but he's 3 years old the 10th of May and EVERY evening has to have his lap time and puppy love or he feels just plumb left out, I swanney, and its all my fault too. LOL

PS Just wanted to add: He gets it too cause it makes me smile real big no matter what is going on ,Therapy right? Yep thought so. He he

There's a whole world of differences between propagators and breeders. My goal is to propagate breeders towards the Standard of Perfection.
 
You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear, you can make a purse out of it, but it won't be silk. LOL
 
Maybe in about another 30-40 years I'll get this "being an expert" thing figured out by then. LOL

Yes, that is your story and you are sticking to it...I get that.  wink.png  Oh this big ole goober (his name is Casca) is too smart for his own good....hubby left early morning to go to MILs house and afterwards I laid down in bed for a bit before the poultry swap and I said to my daughter..."Move Dad's pillow because he is not here and casca will want to sneak up on the bed".  The dog actually woke up, sat up and waited for the pillow to be moved when I said dad is not here.   Rotten thing oh and he adores Speckledhen...he talks to her when she calls and he whines when he hears her voice.  When she visited last year he was her bestest buddy.  hahahahahaha

Politician chicks are running amuck in the bator....number 2 has hatched also  here is Heathen #1

Hatch day is tomorrow and of course Junebug babies have hatched a day early.  They are busy running around the bator yelling about their chicken reform act and making mama proud....true politican chicks.  lau.gif

Congrats LH on the hatch. I have three that hatched. One BA and two NH's. I also had a couple of grey leghorns follow me home from the farm store.

I have never heard of them either but the farm store didn't have any EE's and I didn't want anything that would lay brown eggs. I have to be able to tell my breeder eggs from the others. They did say that they expect more EE's on Wednesday.

I think this is my last one that will hatch. I just pulled it out of the incubator.
