I like the rick rack one too and have the perfect fabric in mind for one, was looking at the fabric today for making a couple of saddles. I am going to make an attempt on one when I get back from my trip to visit Cyn. I will let you know how it goes and post pics of it.

I would love to try my hand at it but it will have to wait till the end of June. Right now I am trying to finish baby quilts before these babies graduate high school and then I have a bunch of things to make for chickenstock.

No one will even buy my pretty table runner (pouts). I'm not crafty, Kathy. I can only make quilts. I can't sew clothes or make anything except quilts.

 

 

Penny goes off and leaves her chicks now. They were yelling for her yesterday when I was on the phone with LH. Penny was nowhere in sight. Couldn't find her. Tom and I were looking everywhere. You know where I found her? In a loosely twisted garbage bag that contained a small amount of hay, trying to lay an egg. She was completely hidden in there. I even briefly glanced inside, didn't see her, twisted the top a little tighter (it has holes so was not airtight), then on my next pass by, looking for her, I saw the bag move. Silly hen! We thought something got her!

I'm getting my new satellite put in today. I will have 10 times faster and 10 times more data upload and download available, so they say.

It is Exede by ViaSat (formerly known as WildBlue). HERE is their website. I am on it now, and WOW ! !  It really is fast!. ya.gif

I am practicing with a new video editor (CyberLink Power Director 10). I don't know why, when I upload to YouTube or Vimeo, the video becomes blurry and the colors distorded. I think it has to do with being recorded in High Definition? Not sure.... Anyway, this editor has an "easy editor," which is what they call a "magic movie wizard." It takes the clips you submit, and makes them into a video. If you want music, you choose that yourself, and then the wizard puts it all together. So, here is one of my practice videos.... Well, not really mine.... the magic wizard's!

 

We have 8 Canadian geese that seem to be quite comfortable around us. I keep trying to chase the darn things out of the yard. I had Fred and Wilma help me this time....

Now, picture those two in about another 6-8 months [I'm just guessing here] and you begin to get the idea of what an awesome patrol and guard pair they're going to be! yesss.gif I love all of it Kathy: The babies running around, the geese getting the bums rush and the music you put it all to! And yes, I'm wanting my own pair even more now! love.gifI wonder how Denny would react to one day discovering we have emu babies. I bet if I could keep the incubator and my plans hidden, I could get away with it!! happy-smiley-643.gif I'd just have to successfully hatch them and Denny wouldn't stand a chance against such cuteness! gig.gif
