I think I'm going to call her Mignonette. big_smile.png

Aww, I love the goat!  big_smile.png  My kids will never remember the whole name..... well, I can try. Is she from Renee, or somebody else?

As for my chicks, it looks like I'm getting 50% frizzle, which is expected. I'm really happy with this hatch, they seem to be really strong. My pullets are getting older, so perhaps that has something to do with it. My first hatch of frizzles yielded a chick that looked like a cuckoo, and one with stripes. This hatch from the same parents, I have three that look very similar, and one different,  I think two will frizzle, and two will be smooth. Serama colors are so random, you just never know what you're gonna get. Its fun!

How did you manage to get a goat with racing stripes?

If a little bit is good, a whole lot is better.  That works with chickens, too, right?

San Diego (city) - 2 compost piles, 3 worm bins, 1 coop, 1 Australorp, 1 EE, 1 RLBW, 1 SLW, 2GLW.  Wait - now 2 coops, also 2 Production Reds, 2 more SLW, 1 Welsummer, 1 OE, 1 more EE, and 2 Wheaten Am's.  Wait - now also some RLBW in the incubator.  And 6 misc. in the brooder for Mom.  Trying for bees next,...

Anyone going to Norco and has some of their feed order they do not need or can let go of?  I dragged my feet too long on the MM order and then Azure Standard had computer/network issues and I could not get my order in.  I see a riot in the henhouse in my future if I do not secure some more food.

PLMK.

Oh, Layer crumbles and or Chick Starter crumbles.

Thanks,

Nancy

I'm not doing Norco, but if you could use a 50 of layer pellets (from my 5,672 bags of feed), you are welcome to use that and find somone who's going up there to take it to you.

Nancy - I ordered crumbles, but they are soy-free. If you still want some, let me know... I just found out I can't go to Norco, but I'm sure I can send them with someone who is.

Chaili - that is the sweetest photo! You need to submit that to BYC. Adorable babies!

Cari - love your new goatie girl. I'm fine with the 2nd pallet coming here if that works for everyone.

Allison - gosh, those NNs are special... big_smile.png  There's no shortage of cockerels around here, unfortunately.

I know a few of you are on Facebook and may already know this, but we had to take our puppy Piper in for emergency surgery this morning. (She ate something she shouldn't have, who knows what.) If you are a praying person, they would be much appreciated... thanks! I hope to know more soon.
