San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

I know this is going to sound crazy since I have 4 very BIG dogs but I am scared of little dogs. Is the Marshmallow Enzo friendly? I may need therapy.

It's true... he will grab anything he can hold on to. Just the other day he gave me a fat lip!!! I hope he doesn't chase the kids too much

he just has to be at the top of the pecking order when it comes to humans. His sibling sister is a house duck also and actually takes her owners bed over and attacks anyone who touches it. She also will throw all pillows and anything that they set on the bed off onto the floor!

Trust me, NO one believes it. I am totally fine w/ my 100 pound German Shepherds and your Mastiff but I will start to shake and pee in my pants with little dogs. I was bitten by a little dog when I was young. The BIG dogs never bothered me. And plus, I can read them but the little guys are not readable.

Told you I need a therapist. Thanks for the

Ahh that makes sense, if you were attacked. I'm sorry for laughing then.

I don't particularly care for little dogs, same reasons; usually not well behaved and harder to read, but if they are well behaved then I

them.

I was attacked by a sheltie when I was like 8. Now I hate shelties.

Well, believe it or not, I never liked little dogs either! Not afraid of them, just didn't like them. I used to have Rhodesian Ridgebacks. This is my first little dog. He's AWESOME, doesn't have that little dog syndrome where they have to prove themselves. He's just a marshmallow fluff ball. And in case anyone needs therapy, you're in luck - he's a therapy dog! Well, not really. But he could be!!!!

Enzolove- Duck Duck lives with little dogs but he does bite them if they try to pick on him. (I have a chihuahua that enjoys teasing him) I'm not sure how Enzo is, but there could be a fight if the marshmallow tries to pick one or barks in his face??? I don't really know for sure. I can bring something to confine him if you are worried about Enzo getting bit or you think Enzo might bite him. He did well with the mastiff, but size might matter, I don't think he had the cajones to mess with that dog!

the mastiff paid no attention to him either, so I'm sure that helped.

Nancy- the silkies are blue/black split - some come blue, some black with an occasional lavender one popping up every so often. Let me know if you like those colors and I'll bring a few eggs for you.

Hi Everyone!

I am late to this party but would like to put the word out, I have a nice trio of Blacktail White Japanese, which are around
8 months, I will have to check with Laurel on exact age, but I am more or less concentrating on Serama's and need the room.
I paid $40 for the trio a couple of months ago. If anyone interested, make me an offer!

Sultan, the roo is a pretty cool fellow and very watchfull and protective of his 2 hens (both laying).

I am also looking for a Buff Silky hen for a lonely Buff Silky roo, and a Splash Silky Hen as well.

Okay, I gotta get some sleep! I was roasting some great Ethiopian Hararr tonight to bring tomorro for
any coffee fiends (I mean afficionados), there is a bunch of caffiene in the roasting smoke.
cya tomorro,

Glenn

Still not in bed. Gosh, I hope I am not half asleep tomorrow, ugh, excuse me today I mean.

SURE! Yes, those colors are worth breaking the law for.

Not too many.

Thanks! This will may be the last time I am on. Doubt I will have the time to go online. Will wake up early and load the van. Decided the little car just won't do.

See Ya all in the afternoon.
