Thanks to the foam blocks and bubble wrap.  Now we wait.....

You pack great. The foam blocks are neat. I do want you to know that mine arrived in great shape. Sometimes there are just those that don't care. I am glad your eggs made it though. Hmmmmnow that I think about it....how long have they been in the incubator?  I need to go and check my calendar. Can I candle them yet?  hmmm...now I better go and check. I'm excited.

I don't check mine until day 18 as they are going into lockdown :)  I do keep a watchful eye on them while in the bator... checking temp, humidity, the turner is working , and that there is none leaking.  So far... that hasn't happen to me and I sure don't want it to either.. :)   Those foam blocks are well let's just say... I have no intentions of ever shipping hatching eggs without them :)

So glad you are pleased... now we wait :)

Hi rockingpaints, I ordered them from Greenfire last month. They were the closest to me with available day olds. They hatched yesterday and I picked them up in person today. Just got home. They're still in the box...peeping ever so quietly and sleeping. Waiting for my husband so we could all open it up together. It will be a long 1/2 hr until he gets here. Geez, wasn't ever really good at waiting to open Christmas or Birthdays. But...I'm striving for patience.th.gif

here is how some of the males feather in..i dont know why, its just one of their traits.

i will get a more recent pic when it quits raining he looks handsome now..by the way thats a nice looking bird.

some them look like a mess until they get rid of the baby feathers..then a beautiful swan emerges..

Age 3 to 6 week eazy to sex the orpingtons male tale grow slower than pullets.
