I sauteed up some of the last onions and green peppers I had picked. Poured over fresh fried silkie eggs... yum!

Already post this pic yesterday, over in the What's For Supper thread. But wow, this Coconut Fried Shrimp was fabulous! I hadn't made it in a long time. Had forgotten how good it is.

Oatmeal!!!  I don't know why, but I just love a bowl of plain oatmeal with sugar and milk in the morning.

Peace.  It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work.  It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.

Mommy to 4 dogs; 5 cats; 3 pygmy goats; 3 pot belly pigs; 40 chickens; one Giant Rainbow Plated lizard; and one beautiful blue and gold macaw!!l

Oh that looks delicious!

Breeding Welsummers and Barnevelders.

Having an Icelandic in the coop is like having a 2 year old in the house - they are into everything and don't follow the rules.

I have zero chicken willpower.

An almond pastry.  It was delicious!  http://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/36934_drool.gif

The awesomeness of a movie can, under normal circumstances, be easily calculated by counting the number of cars destroyed and multiplying that figure by the number of witty comebacks issued by major characters. The Avengers is a very high ranking movie on this scale.

"Harrison Ford is the President of the United States" is the perfect movie tagline.

I'm afraid that by the time their eyes get cloudy, they're not so fresh anymore..

That glow is the reflection of the flash off the retina, the eye itself was crystal clear. wink

For example, these sunfish were all caught within 2 hours of the picture and stuffed into a cooler, so I know they are fresh. It was a good day catching the little guys!
