SHUT UP you silly girl..some people may believe that

I know I saw it somewhere in this thread, and I can't find it again.

What is the green mesh you are using over the run?

I'd have been shouting "Everybody into the pond!" at the donkeys if I'd see all that smoke headed my way. How scary!

I am not sure what you mean by green mesh wire. If you are meaning the plastic fencing that looks like chicken wire I wouldn't recommend it against predators. It would keep chickens in but nothing out. The netting I am referring to is for keeping birds of prey out. It is used by vineyards to protect the grapes from the birds.

That was the stuff I meant -- the birds of prey (in our case red tail hawks) stuff. Thanks for the link, it looks great.

Before you order and have to pay for shipping, you may try your local garden centers.

I got my black netting for my duck pen at one. Several in my area carried it and I went with the least expensive.

I like the black better because you don't see it.
