Dental Crown... Owwwieeee!!!! Nerve damage? Gah!!!!!!!!

Did they have to renumb you? When I had my wisdom teeth out the stuff wore off and they had to redo the shots. I was fine that day but the next day my face was bruised and the area of the shots was HORRIBLE. Maybe it's from the actual needle? I sure hope you feel better soon.
 
Oh boy do I feel your pain. I had a filling in a tooth once a week, three weeks in a row. The first was no problem. The 2nd I was pretty sore as soon as the numbness wore off but tolerable with some advil. The 3rd? OMG I though I was going to die. Thank goodness I had some darvocet left over......otherwise I would have been in the emergency room begging for something.

In my case it is not the teeth it is my JAW. After popping 2-3 advil every 6 hours for the last 2 weeks I went back to the dentist and they referred me elsewhere for a TMJ evaluation. And gave me muscle relaxers. I have some weird jaw issues and this has seemed to irritate them and make it horrendous.

I took the first muscle relaxer last night.......I am afraid it will knock me out totally and this is a rough yet important week at work, so I took only a quarter of a pill last night. Tonight I will take a half. Friday night? It is ON kids, I am taking a whole one. LOL

Hi! I'm new here and I know this is an older post...but I was wondering what ever happened with your crown? I am experiencing exactly the same thing.
I'm wondering what to expect. The dentist's office seems to be giving me the runaround. Thanks:) Sorry to bother you :)
