Do you have any pics...  we have a buff laced roo and a golden laced hen .  This would be my 8 year old sons project.  He wants white crested black but i dont think we are going to buy any new chickens for a while so he wants to have baby's with what we have.  If you had pics that would be awsome so i could show him what to expect.  He is all about Polish chickens and he wants to breed and show them someday smile.png  ..Someday ill have to get him the WCB but I think this might be a good start for him.

I have.  My babies are varying amount of buff laced, some have more lacing than others. Some have a few black spots on them, this is caused by the dominant white thing that Buff Laced Polish carry.

Sorry, not right now.

I may try to get some this week end, but not sure that I can get them loaded.  My computer is slow and now BYC is slow too.

I do most of my posting from work and do not have acsess to be able to load pictures.

I'll see what I can do.

The first set of pics is of an f1 naked neck X polish pullet. She will be bred back to a polish and an f1 polish cross rooster. My goal naked neck polish or crested naked neck. The second set of pics is of a crested naked neck that I bought at an auction.Don't know anything about her breeding, but she will also be used in the naked neck polish/crested naked neck project. She will be paired with a polish rooster and a f1 polish X blue cuckoo olive egger(frizzle)rooster. Hope to have lots of interesting babies next year.

Red naked neck
Red shouldered blue Yokohama
Showgirls (can't buy them in the uk)
And a secret one

I will be adding brahma and polands into my silkies to add shape, foot feathering and crest, before using in my showgirls.

Silkied seabrights would be cool too

I'm deciding to let this thread die and make another as I have a couple projects is like to try.

Farmers only worry during the growing season, but towns people worry all the time.
