The difference between breakfast and chicks, is the temperature you use to "cook" the eggs!

What breeds do I have?  More than any sane person would own.

I am studying the Tolbunt colouration. Just trying to get the newest definition of Tolbunt in Polish - the proposed standard on the Polish club site says a light redish brown feather with a black blob and then a white blob. That to me sounds just like Millie Fleur only with a redish brown base and not a buff base.

Is there anything new?

There are also alot of what look to me to be "pied" tolbunt polish out there. Super pretty, but does if fit the standard?

And if the proposed standard is not a laced feather than what would those birds be? Should we have another definition?

Concidering that other breeds will follow with the "Tolbunt colour, before the standard is set there needs to be more clarity on the variations and how to catagorize them.

A committee is currently being formed by the Polish Breeders Club to establish a more current proposed Standard. I'm assuming the base color, lacing, etc will all be reviewed and considered.

That could easily be the cutest thing I have ever seen. Ever! These are definitely on my wish list for hatching next spring!

~Lisa, the overworked pet to a chicken herd of many spoiled (girls?) and 2 handsome boys: Turkens, Rocks, Sexlinks,  Houdans, Marans, Olive EE's, EE's, Ameraucanas, Polish,  Showgirls, Silkies, a cute Frizzle mutt and an Austra-white. And some cute little quail!  http://www.backyardchickens.com/a/la-casa-de-pollos-member-page

I do need to post updated photos.  One was quite fragile and only lived about five days.  It had been shrink-wrapped in the shell after it zipped most of the way.  But the second late hatcher is thriving.  The late hatcher turned out to be a frizzle and the other three smooth.
