I've never had peafowl before but I'm thinking about ordering them. Any tips?

There's lots and lots of good info on this forum and some very knoweldgeable memebers that can answer just about any question you want to know about them. We have had them for about 5 years now and still learning. They are great birds and the only downside I have ever seen is they are addictive. If you are planning on getting 2 build a big enough pen for 4 or 6. smile

I've never seen any hatchery pea's but if they are like any other poulty they sell I would get them from a breeder.

Thank you! I've heard they're quite addictive. Can't wait to get some, but I've heard they're really noisy. Is this true?

Males can be loud during breeding season.

Hatchery peachicks, come from peafowl breeders, then they jack up the price.I Know alot of breeders who supply hatchery.

Good time to get peachicks shipped now, best to get some a few months old. Should be able to sex most by then also.

It doesn't really matter what kind. I've never had them before.
