whats your hatch rate? Also do you have a minimum # to ship? I might be interested... just not at this point in time due to the fact both my incubators are full. Thanks.

I have NO minimum. I put the very frist 6 eggs in a bator and 4 are growing and due next weekend. Egg 1 & 2 were no good. Eggs 3 thru 6 are good. If you want some, just let me know when you want them and we can work something out. Thanks...........ed...........Portland, IN.........

Hi Ed! I got some goose eggs from you last year and a lovely surprise in the box which by the way, still hangs in my kitchen and is much looked at.

Those eggs did really well! I may need some more!

Yes I remember. How are you doing? The last I remember, you were getting rid of most of your birds. Do you still have birds and if so, what all you got now? Just let me know if and when you want some. Thanks...........ed...........Portland, IN.........

P.s...............is hubby still in the service?

Great goose eggs from Ed!

Best egg shipping I've ever seen -- spares no expense! HUGE, healthy Pomeranian eggs. And even sent more than I ordered.

You need goose eggs from Ed!

UGGH! Never saw this post again! Glad it was brought back up!

We just chose to revamp all the birds. Now we have orps. for our standard chickens, but plan to add some more standard egg laying breeds. TRUE amerauacanas (that'll take a while finding them!), black australorps and maybe something else. Not sure what... Then we've got peafowl in three colors, a few muscovie ducks, bantam cochins, turkeys in two colors, ringneck pheasants and guineas (boy do we have guineas!!).

We also stuck our fingers in the sheep/lamb/beef calves/rabbit pot to make meat for the house. Well, ok, we won't eat the sheep... They are just cute and sweet and I'm sure whomever gets them will enjoy them on THEIR dinner plates. LOL!!

How are you doing???? How are all those geese? Did you ever find your ...swan eggs.... was it?

Yes, DH is still in the Navy. He's reenlisting as a matter of fact on the 31st of this month for his last five years of service! I can't believe you remembered!

Although I don't have any geese right now, I do have two goose eggs in the bator right now! I got them from Birdnutz along with a whole mess of her duck eggs and do you know, EVERY single egg at least started to grow? Talk about awesome!!

Well, anyway, I'm glad to see you on here with your goose eggs again. Yours were GREAT on fertility last year!

I got my eggs today. Wow, what a great packing job. Nice eggs and I hope I can hatch a girl for my boy.

Ed's geese are great! I have 2 from last year's hatching. One is sitting on 10 eggs due on April 10.

Ms E

MS E, Thanks, I hope you get lots of babies from your eggs. I love baby geese. My babies having babies, does that make me grandpa? Im too young to be grandpa. Good luck with the babies...........ed

Hazelton farms, sounds like you have your work cut out for ya, I thought I had alot of stuff. Im doing fine, Ive got a couple of new breeds to play with. I started to redo the coop to make room for even more different breeds. I must be nuts to want to get more breeds. Yes I remembered your hubby being in the service, couldnt remember which one, I admire you for raiseing the kids and all of them animals by yourself. Someday you might find a box of geese eggs on your doorstep. Good luck on all of your projects, stay in touch...............ed
