good dog breeds for chickens

This is Tilley she is a puppy in training, she is 1/2 sheltie and 1/4 boarder collie and 1/4 spaniel, she is three months old now and does very well with the chickens when we are there to remind her LOL.She has that hearding instinct, this is our silkies babywe raised in the house and she was the one that we started Tilley on,once she tried to carry her away but we was right there to interced, but that was a few weeks ago and she has been good since then probably because I hit her lightly with a plastic pail I had in my hand at the time,it did not hurt her but scared the daylights out of her.She ran in the house and hid behind the chair.

thats definately the truth! my pyr goes thru a 50 pound bag of food in no time flat. although i believe the large amounts of food are helping keep the critters away since i throw the landmines in a radius all thru the woods that but against my backyard and so far the large dog scent has kept the animals away
