I am putting my first batch of eggs in today, I hope all goes well. I havent done it in about 3 yrs. I guess we will see if I can still do huh?fl

Just wanted to update and let everyone know that the eggs went in this afternoon. I only got one EE egg which kinda bummed me I really wanted a couple, but hopefully that one will be good. The rest are a mix of Barred rock, RIR, Buff orp, and White leghorn. 12 in all.

Well I think im gonna teach my dog to defend my bator, my DH seems to think he rules the roost  (no phun intended). He saw the bator this morning and told me that he is not going to allow chickens here cause they stink, make noise, and have to be fed. LOL I said " well I feed you dont I?" He didnt like that too much but oh well. If it was his idea it would be ok but it was mine so its not OK! Sorry for the ranting just needed to vent before I slapped him in his PIE HOLE!smack

BTW...HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!

Thanks, me too I really hope the EE egg is good. I realy want one, it will be like easter for the kids all the time:fl
